True to its name, the evening primrose has bright yellow flowers that open in the evening and close during the day. North American Indigenous tribes have used the evening primrose a food and medicinal crop for hundreds of years. Almost all parts of the plant are edible, and it can be used to treat a wide variety of ailments from skin conditions to PMS.
